It’s Monday and everyone can use a little pick-me-up on a Monday morning, right? Today’s post is all about putting a smile on your face and getting your week off to a great start. Fiona from Muffin the Muse nominated me to participate in 8 Photos of Happiness which was created by Ariel’s Little Corner of the Internet. I don’t know about you, but it always makes me happy when I look through my old photos, remembering fun times and laughing at goofy pics that were taken. I’m also a firm believer in having an attitude of happiness and gratitude, so I’m “all in” on this one. I did decide to change it up a little bit though by adding a quote along with each photo. Enjoy! π

What a perfect selection of pictures! I don’t think mom could ever pick just 8 so we don’t know how you did it. The water one is the happiest. But we couldn’t find Lucy as we don’t know which one is Gary. Love Dolly
Yes, it was hard picking just eight photos. Finding Lucy is a little like studying a picture of “Where’s Waldo”. She’s standing next to the drummer in this shot and Gary is the one in the white spotlight walking across the stage.
OMD, those are all so CUTE! I think the jumping for joy one is my fave. Dogs are so good at being happy!
Just watching them have fun is all I need to make me happy! π

They’re all wonderful and I loved the addition of the quotes. But I have to admit that seeing Haley with her grey face made me smile the most. There’s nothing like a grey pup.
And it’s especially poignant since today is the first time I’ve noticed white fur coming in around Honey’s eyes. She’s on her way to being silver and gold.
Aw, I know exactly what you mean. It’s always a bit of a surprise when you first notice it but Haley started going gray around 4 years old, so I’ve had some time to get used to it. I think it gives her some character and there’s something very sweet about the gray and the mellow attitude. Give Honey a special hug today from me! π

I LOVE the dog photos….someone has a very good and happy life! But I also have to say that I LOVE Gary Allan too! I’ve seen him in concert a few times, but never has he brought his dog out on stage…that is so awesome! I see her right there by the drums….but can’t quite tell what breed she might be?
I’m not sure how long Gary’s had Lucy, but I think she’s a regular part of his show now. I read that he did an acoustic concert not too long ago where she was on stage with him for the entire concert. This was the first time I saw him in concert but I’ve always loved his music. The concert was amazing but the encore with Lucy made it extra special! π
Aww, I love how you arranged your photos, each one with a quote! It’s hard to pick, but I think my favorite is the sprinkler one – look up “happy” in the dictionary, and that photo could be right beside it π Though I am a sucker for a good Winnie the Pooh quote, too! π Great post!

I love the photos you chose. I was going through mine yesterday looking for photos for Sampson’s birthday post and found myself laughing and smiling at so many of them. Isn’t that why we take photos, so we can look back and smile?
It’s wonderful to relive all the special memories and moments, especially those adorable puppy pictures since they’re only a young pup for a short time.

Aw, they are so cute with balloons, aren’t they? We actually have to keep Haley from overdoing it by jumping if there are helium balloons around. She’s like a possessed demon with those, lol!
