It’s Monday and everyone can use a little pick-me-up on a Monday morning, right? Today’s post is all about putting a smile on your face and getting your week off to a great start. Fiona from Muffin the Muse nominated me to participate in 8 Photos of Happiness which was created by Ariel’s Little Corner of the Internet. I don’t know about you, but it always makes me happy when I look through my old photos, remembering fun times and laughing at goofy pics that were taken. I’m also a firm believer in having an attitude of happiness and gratitude, so I’m “all in” on this one. I did decide to change it up a little bit though by adding a quote along with each photo. Enjoy! 🙂

My Bonus Photo of Happiness!
I had to include one more photo from a Gary Allan concert we attended this past weekend. The concert was fantastic and to top it off, Gary brought his dog Lucy on stage to hang out during the encore. See if you can spot her in the image below.
Now I Want to See Your 8 Photos of Happiness!I decided to nominate these four blogs since I’ve been wanting to get to know them a little better.
Paved by Paw Prints
Whiskers to Paws
If you decide to participate, just follow the steps below.
1. Post your 8 photos of happiness.
2. Thank your nominator and provide a link to their blog.
3. Link to the creator of this event, Ariel’s Little Corner of the Internet.
4. Nominate some of your favorite bloggers to participate.
Thanks Fiona and Ariel for including me in this event. The hardest part was picking only eight photos, haha! It was fun putting the post together and I hope it makes everyone’s Monday just a little bit happier.
When you look through your photos, which ones make you the happiest?

Great photos and quotes! They certainly made me smile!
Thanks! I’m glad it brightened your Monday morning, Denise. 🙂
What a great idea for a Monday morning post, it certainly made me smile.
Awesome! Have a great week, Jen!
I absolutely LOVE these and the hose one (and the balloon one) are my faves!
Thanks so much, Caren. The silly ones are my favorites too, lol!
Thanks for the nomination! I look forward to participating. 🙂
I’m glad you’re “all in” too for the 8 Photos of Happiness! I look forward to seeing your happiness pics soon!
Aw I am loving your happiness photos!!!!! Awesome!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Thanks, this was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing yours too, Jenna!
The water one is too funny. This is such a fun concept.
Lol! That was my favorite happiness quote too. 🙂
Thanks for the nomination! We love the jumping for joy pic. 🙂 We’re so glad to be participating!
Great! I can’t wait to see your pics. You can always do the post after your new puppy comes home since there’s nothing better at creating happiness than a puppy!
What a perfect selection of pictures! I don’t think mom could ever pick just 8 so we don’t know how you did it. The water one is the happiest. But we couldn’t find Lucy as we don’t know which one is Gary. Love Dolly
Yes, it was hard picking just eight photos. Finding Lucy is a little like studying a picture of “Where’s Waldo”. She’s standing next to the drummer in this shot and Gary is the one in the white spotlight walking across the stage.
OMD, those are all so CUTE! I think the jumping for joy one is my fave. Dogs are so good at being happy!
Just watching them have fun is all I need to make me happy! 🙂
Those are great pictures! I love the one with hose!
Thanks so much! She does look quite insane in that picture, lol!
That balloon photo is priceless.
Thank you, she loves balloons. 🙂
They’re all wonderful and I loved the addition of the quotes. But I have to admit that seeing Haley with her grey face made me smile the most. There’s nothing like a grey pup.
And it’s especially poignant since today is the first time I’ve noticed white fur coming in around Honey’s eyes. She’s on her way to being silver and gold.
Aw, I know exactly what you mean. It’s always a bit of a surprise when you first notice it but Haley started going gray around 4 years old, so I’ve had some time to get used to it. I think it gives her some character and there’s something very sweet about the gray and the mellow attitude. Give Honey a special hug today from me! 🙂
Thank you so much for the nomination, very excited to participate! And hopefully you guys can learn a little bit more about us 🙂
The Happiness is a warm puppy photo was my favourite (so cute!) but the goofy pics all made me smile the most! 🙂
Excellent! I’m so glad you’re accepting the nomination and I’m looking forward to seeing your happiness pics soon. Happy Monday! 🙂
Great photos – thanks for sharing, they made me smile.
Aw, I’m so glad they put a smile on your face today. 🙂
I LOVE the dog photos….someone has a very good and happy life! But I also have to say that I LOVE Gary Allan too! I’ve seen him in concert a few times, but never has he brought his dog out on stage…that is so awesome! I see her right there by the drums….but can’t quite tell what breed she might be?
I’m not sure how long Gary’s had Lucy, but I think she’s a regular part of his show now. I read that he did an acoustic concert not too long ago where she was on stage with him for the entire concert. She’s a goldendoodle and here’s her Facebook page if you want to learn more about her: https://www.facebook.com/AdventuresWithLucy
This was the first time I saw him in concert but I’ve always loved his music. The concert was amazing but the encore with Lucy made it extra special! 🙂
Aww, I love how you arranged your photos, each one with a quote! It’s hard to pick, but I think my favorite is the sprinkler one – look up “happy” in the dictionary, and that photo could be right beside it 😉 Though I am a sucker for a good Winnie the Pooh quote, too! 😀 Great post!
Thanks Chelsea, I appreciate the compliment. Have a fantastic week!
Those are fantastic photos!
Y’all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Why thank you, Hawk!
Your quotes were “spot-on” loved the photos – I’m smiling and it’s after 9:00pm – now that’s happiness!
Hey, if it’s 9pm on a Monday and you’re still smiling, that’s one great Monday, Cathy! 🙂
Fabulous photos, loved them all!
Thanks, JoAnn. You got 9 Puppies of Happiness right now! 🙂
Some fantastic shots there. They certainly made me smile, I love the stick one. Almost got it!
Thanks Fiona and thanks again for nominating me, it was a fun challenge!
I love the photos you chose. I was going through mine yesterday looking for photos for Sampson’s birthday post and found myself laughing and smiling at so many of them. Isn’t that why we take photos, so we can look back and smile?
It’s wonderful to relive all the special memories and moments, especially those adorable puppy pictures since they’re only a young pup for a short time.
First, you are a GREAT photographer. Second, every single one of these photos (and quotes) made my heart smile. Mission accomplished, thank you! 🙂
Aw, thank you so much for your kind words, Camille. I’m glad you enjoyed the post and your comment made my heart smile tonight. 🙂
All those photos made me smile, especially the one with the balloon & Haley splashing around in the water! Our pups enjoy playing with both as well 🙂
Aw, they are so cute with balloons, aren’t they? We actually have to keep Haley from overdoing it by jumping if there are helium balloons around. She’s like a possessed demon with those, lol!
